2008, China invites the world and the world comes to China! It gives us great pleasure to invite you to “2008 IFHNOS Current Concepts in Head & Neck Surgery and Oncology World Tour and East Asian Head & Neck Surgery Forum” to be held in Beijing, China at its very best in golden autumn just following the “2008 Beijing Olympic Games” annotating “One World, One Dream”. An exciting and memorable program is being develop to explore trends and advances in head and neck surgery and oncology. This conference is made possible mainly through the generous sponsorship of the Head and Neck Surgery Committee, as well as the Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Center at the Affiliated Beijing Tongren Hospital of Capital Medical University and Beijing Institute of Otolaryngology as co-organizers.

The subject of this Congress is “Multidisciplinary involvement improves prognosis”. The Congress consists of two parts: East Asian Head & Neck Surgery Forum on October 26th and IFHNOS’ World Tour on October 27th-28th, which is the 9th stop of global continuing medical education program of The International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS), covering China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Hongkong and Taiwan. This program will be offered by seven leading specialist of head and neck surgery and oncology with Professor Shah as the leader, in the form of lecture presentation, panel discussion, interactive sessions and video demonstration of operative techniques.
